Refund policy
If Stay Focused Plus isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of buying, or within 14 days of a yearly renewal, for a full refund. No questions asked.
Plus is not on sale yet.
This policy will apply when it is.
Which payments
What is covered
- Yearly
- A full refund within 14 days of your first payment, and of any yearly renewal payment within 14 days of that renewal.
- Lifetime
- A full refund within 14 days of your purchase.
- “Full” means everything you were charged for that payment, including any sales tax or VAT.
- You don’t have to give a reason, and it makes no difference whether you have activated or used your key.
Asking
How to ask
Email support@stayfocusedsoftware.com with your order number, which is on your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or the email address you bought with. One line is enough, for example: “Please refund my Stay Focused Plus order.”
What counts is the day your email reaches us, not the day we reply. We reply within 3 working days.
The money
How you are paid back
Stay Focused Plus is sold through Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record that took your payment. We approve the refund and Lemon Squeezy pays it back to the payment method you used. Lemon Squeezy says a refund can take up to 10 days to appear on your statement.
Your key
What happens to your key
When an order is refunded, we disable its license key and, for Yearly, cancel the subscription so that it does not renew. Stay Focused notices at its next weekly check, or straight away if you choose Check now on the Stay Focused Plus page.
The Plus extras then pause. Nothing is deleted, your Plus choices are kept, and blocking and everything else in the free version carry on as before.
Later
After 14 days
You can cancel Yearly at any time, and Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t normally refund part of a year. If something has gone wrong, though, email us anyway: for example if you were charged twice, a renewal went through after you cancelled, or Plus has stopped working and we can’t fix it. We will put it right.
If you don’t recognise a charge, please email us before you dispute it with your bank. A refund from us is usually the quicker way.
On your statement
A charge for Plus starts with LEMSQZY*. That is Lemon Squeezy, the company that takes the payment.
Renewals
Cancelling Yearly
To cancel, use Lemon Squeezy’s order page, which Manage purchase in Stay Focused opens. Cancelling stops future renewals.
Removing Stay Focused from Chrome does not cancel Yearly. It keeps renewing until you cancel it.
By law
Your legal rights
This policy is in addition to your legal rights and does not limit them. In the UK and the EU, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. This policy gives you that in full, whatever you agreed to at checkout.
And if Plus is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund after the 14 days have passed.
